Through the unique ‘NBA-Way’ of learning and teaching, NBA Basketball Schools’ skill-based approach helps develop talent, while strengthening NBA’s core values of integrity, teamwork, respect, and innovation.

Leo Bruno - IOT NBA BS

Leo Bruno: 

Leo is a dedicated basketball coach from Brazil with 17 years of coaching experience at the grassroots, youth and professional level. He has been actively developing basketball amongst children and coaches in India since 2015.

He currently heads the NBA Basketball Schools training programme in West India delivering the values of the NBA to children, coaches and institutions across the region. He has also previously worked with the Rio de Janeiro State Team and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in Brazil.

Prakash Padukone Badminton Schools

The Prakash Padukone Badminton Schools programmes are set-up in partnership with reputed educational institutions that share IOT and the Prakash Padukone’s passion and fervour for grassroots development. With a strict focus on providing quality training and conditioning in safe facilities, the training programmes are customized and implemented for each partner across various developmental platforms. Each programme creates a platform for students to learn, participate and progress in the sport through a high-quality training setup, executed by licensed coaches and overseen by the programme Technical Director as well as leveraging the brand and association value for partner institutions.

Saurabh Kubal - IOT PPBS

Saurabh Kubal: 

With the playing career spanning 15 years, Saurabh has played badminton at the district, state and national level. Saurabh has been a badminton coach at Cricket Club of India, Khar Gymkhana, and Prakash Padukone Badminton Schools imparting grassroots training for children between the age-groups of 5-16 years. He is currently leading the Prakash Padukone Badminton Schools training programme at Jamnabai Narsee School and Ryan International School, Malad.

Among his other personal achievements, he is also currently part of the Maharashtra State Camp and has represented India in various international tournaments such as OUE Singapore International series, Yonex sunrise Indonesian masters and Kawasaki Vietnam International series

Rugby India

Rugby India, founded in 1998, is the sole governing body for the sport of Rugby in India. Recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sport, Govt. of India, Rugby India is a full member of World Rugby, Asia Rugby and the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). The body is responsible for the growth & development of the sport of Rugby across the country from the grassroots to the high performance level.

IRFU is the sole governing body of all formats of the sport of Rugby in India for all genders and ages. The formats included are as follows: Rugby Union, Fifteen-a-Side Rugby, Seven-a-Side Rugby, 10-a-Side Rugby, 12-a-Side Rugby, Touch Rugby, Non-Contact Rugby – Tag Rugby, Flag Rugby, Beach Rugby, Snow Rugby, Wheelchair Rugby, Underwater Rugby.

Rugby has been included in the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) for all age-groups (U14, U17 & U19 boys & girls) and the National University Games for both Men & Women, under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), The sport is also a part of the Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) and played by the Paramilitary & Police Forces.

Rugby in India has a rich history and heritage and dates back to 1872. However, only over the last decade has the sport seen a major rise in following and Rugby India has been instrumental in garnering this interest across the country. There has been a significant growth and increase in participation numbers and currently, within India, over 120 Rugby Clubs are affiliated to our State and Districts Associations with competitive Rugby, for both Men & Women, being actively played across 24 States in India.

The Skate Academy has created large number of International, National (India), State and District Level Champions. TSA provides basic, advance and focussed training in various disciplines of skating.

Ajay Shivlani 2

Ajay Shivlani-Founder & Executive Director of The Skate Academy:

Ajay Shivlani is an International Examiner for skating instructors(ICP International) & World Record Holder. Has mentored more than 1.2lakh skaters; many of who have won laurels at the local and international level championships.

It all started more than 25 years ago. Ajay discovered a toy with wheels which could be attached to feet and rolled along. The sheer idea of being 2 inches above the ground and gliding in the air was enough for him to be wrapped in the magic of skating. Since then, he has been involved in every level and form of skating. Be it, speed, artistic, endurance, adventure, aggressive etc.

Won merits at the District, State & All India Level competitions followed by endeavors like National Record for skating the longest distance in shortest time and World Record for skating Highest motorable road in shortest time.

Fighting Fit

Fighting Fit started as the brainchild of Shihan Hemal Shah in 1997  and has grown from a relatively small operation to an organization that embraces martial arts as a way to reach a wider audience. In his own words “I have been a martial artist since almost 3 decades and have reached a high level of proficiency in different forms of marital arts. A 7th Dan in Jujitsu, 6th Dan in Kickboxing, 4th Dan in Karate, Lakan Tatlo. 3rd Dan in Kali & 1st Dan in Spochan. Awarded hall of fame by US Martial Arts Association, a Member and Director with the International Street Fight Union, a Member of World Kobudo Federation, Representing Shinkali Japan & International Jiujitsu Academy Mauritius in India and International Ultimate Kravmaga Federation in Mumbai are enough credentials to call myself an expert in Martial Arts”.

Saul Vazquez

Saul Vazquez:

From being a scout to an analyst and now a football coach, Saul Vazquez Chas has worked in almost everything that the sport has to offer. Over the past 10 years, he has held various positions at clubs such as R.C. Deportivo de La Coruna S.A.D. & U.D. Somozas. Now, Saul works as the LaLiga Football Schools’ Technical Head in India (West) and hopes to use his vast knowledge and experience to help grow the sport.
